WELCOME
I’m Chantal Bombardier (she/her), a registered social worker and psychotherapist with over a decade of experience. My work is rooted in a deep commitment to helping people heal from trauma so that past experiences no longer defines or limit the present, and meaningful change becomes possible. I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your challenges at your own pace.

Experience
Alongside my work in private practice, I bring over 15 years of experience in community-based healthcare. This background has deeply informed my understanding of a wide range of life circumstances and challenges. It has also provided me with valuable experience facilitating group therapy using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help address emotion dysregulation.
Licensed through the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) - As a registered social worker, I’m committed to providing care that is ethical, professional, and grounded in compassion.
Member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW) - a professional community that supports ongoing learning, advocacy, and connection within the field.
My approach
I believe therapy works best when you feel seen, safe, and supported, so I’ll start by meeting you where you’re at. We’ll move at your pace and work together in a way that feels comfortable and meaningful for you. My approach is rooted in anti-racist, decolonizing, and intersectional feminist values, which means I’m always paying attention to how systems of power and oppression can shape our experiences. This is ongoing work, and I’m committed to showing up for it with honesty and care. I welcome open conversations about identity, culture, and lived experience as we explore what healing and growth can look like for you.
I provide individual counselling and psychotherapy to adults. I see therapy as something that works best when it’s flexible and shaped around your needs. There are many approaches we can explore together including: talk therapy, DBT, CBT, ACT, Mindfulness based approaches, Internal Family Systems, Prolonged Exposure Therapy for Complex PTSD.
Together, we’ll create a space where you can feel safe, understood, and supported in your growth. I’m here to help you explore the different parts of yourself and gently uncover what might be in the way of the changes you want to make in your life.
